Sri Vaithiyalinga Swami Annai Yogambigai temple is nearly 500 years old temple. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located 30 km West to Tirunelveli. This temple was built by Karppa Siththar. When it was built it was a very small temple but over the years it evolved and now it's one of the famous temple in South Tamilnadu.

The devotees believe that Sri Vaithiyalinga Swami can cure all your aches and illness. Hence the name Vaithiyappar (doctor).
